Working in technology\u00a0I prefer tools to be consistent and reliable, certainly my primary phone falls under this category. At the time \"it just works\" was certainly a valid argument. Eventually Android OS fragmentation and constant crashing pushed me to the dark side and I've been an iPhone user ever since.<\/p>\n<p>With that said, I will be skipping Apple's newest redux for the same reason Apple is pushing\u00a0their\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2016\/09\/07\/courage\/\">courageous<\/a>\u00a0decision\u00a0to remove\u00a0the 3.5mm audio jack...<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left;\">I Hate Cables<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">I promise with this new iPhone you will have more cables than ever. Apple didn't create features, they created accessories. New wired headphones with proprietary connectors, splitters and adapters\u00a0for connecting older accessories. I even think the strange looking wireless earpods have promise. I love my wireless headphones but was not fully aware of the downsides until I was in the moment.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">Wanting to watch a movie on an airplane's\u00a0in-flight entertainment system<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">Getting on a conference\u00a0call and realize\u00a0I didn't charge my headphones\u00a0the night before<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">Getting on a conference call and not realizing the iPhone decided to put you on speakerphone instead of connecting to your wireless\u00a0head set<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">Missing the end of movie on my iPad\u00a0after my headphones died<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">Spending five angry minutes trying to unpair\/pair to my current device<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">But seriously, where the hell\u00a0is wireless charging?!<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left;\">The Thinnest, Fastest iPhone Ever<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">If Apple is feeling courageous they would have given users what we really want. We want better battery life and wireless charging. We want more features and options, not fewer.
